The job stream submission system currently fails to execute when the SNAP application is installed to a directory path which contains some non UTF-8 encoded special characters.

  • An example of this issue would be if SNAP is installed in a directory such as the following: C:\Users\exampleäuser\snap

A temporary work around this for this issue is to ensure SNAP is installed in a directory path that does not contain the ä character.

  • An example workaround would be to use the following path to install snap: C:\Users\exampleauser\snap

This issue will be resolved in SNAP 4.2.1.
