Running sudo make install gives me:

Removing intermediate container b9ace43118ae
Step 14 : RUN useradd --uid $UID build
 ---> Running in 1d2bc6d18b7e
useradd: UID 0 is not unique
The command '/bin/sh -c useradd --uid $UID build' returned a non-zero code: 4
make[1]: *** [/home/ubuntu/git/nvidia-docker/tools/bin] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ubuntu/git/nvidia-docker/tools'
make: *** [install] Error 2
