Issues loading chat history

I can't find any info about this so let me know if I am wrong.

Ever since the maintance i'm having issues loading people their history. If I click on their name under chat history it only loads the messages I've had with them that day, but if I go the log file location everything is still there without any issue, the .txt files contain the whole history i'm looking for.

I've tried to use /xim name but this just results to the same, it says it finds the history but it seems to only load partially from today without having a option to load more chat history like they don't exist anymore.

Funnily enough it does however write to the exact same file which contains all the history, even tho I can't find their history of before today.

Please let me know if I can provide more information or if this is already known or not.

Edit: if I check the "log" under /xim I do see all the messages, just not in the window i'm chatting.
before today I was able to see everything.
For clarification, i'm not seeing the "display x more messages button" when scrolling to the top of the chat.

Edit2: So I do see the button if I have a more history with that person from that day, but it's not showing me a option to load all the other previous messages which I see in the txt file.

Hey. How much messages do you see? In the "settings" - "logging", there is a setting to adjust how many last messages are loaded from history.

I've have it set to the default settings, but I know I have way more history with a lot of people.
The button to display more of the previous history of the persons just doesn't show up anymore like it use too.

I can always go to the txt file and see the full history but still.

Could you approximately count how much messages you see loaded in chat vs how much it's set in settings?
XIM is not supposed to load entire log, not at all, only small amount of recent messages

So i'm checking right now, I see "Loaded 25 messages from history" message. which is correct I checked, but are you not if you scroll all the way up supposed to receive like "display x more messages" button? Sometimes I want to see a few more, and I used to be able to see this button and click it to get more in game, like I don't mind going to the actual log but was just ease of use in game.

That button is only for when your current chat log gets too long. Again, there's only certain amount of messages that are loaded from log; there's no additional loading from log. You can change loaded messages amount in logging tab.
