Just so we don't need to dive in the repo to know what it can do, what it uses and whether it is obsolete.

So, it uses blivet and pykickstart which is a library used to manipulate kickstart is used fo automatically perform unattended operating system installation and configuration (citation from kickstart's wikipedia).

That's a start.
