... what happens if a user got their own manifest (say a year from now they're trying to use an older nixpkgs revision for some reproduction purposes, but nvidia had substituted the binaries so the hashes differ from those in the manifests checked in the old nixpkgs) and wants to instantiate a whole new cudaPackages from that? What do they .override?
