Custom commit messages would be nice

Describe what problem your feature request solves:
Currently, the commit messages for repo integrations are hard coded (e.g. here or here).

It would be nice to have the option to provide custom commit messages and only use the hard coded defaults if no custom message is given.

Describe the solution you'd like:
When hitting the "save" button, the user could be asked to enter a commit message. Only if he leaves the field empty, the hard coded default is used.
Of course, the default message could also be the default value of the input field presented to the user.
