Charging state question.

Preface with I'm new to MM(+), used 4.3 RC and now 4.3 stable only and not fluent in c, so feel free to school me.

The only hiccups I've had are hangs when trying to turn on while charging. Not sure if its something to do with the loop in ChargingState or what.
ie:
Off & charging > Press hold power to turn on > Shows Charging screen > Press hold power to turn on > device hangs with black screen.

Is there a way we can do without the charging screen at power on and go right to the OnionOS menu. Seems a little redundant since we have charging lights on the top of the device. I get that turning on when power is first inserted to set some batmon updates, but wouldn't those run if it went right into the menu when the user wants to power on while charging?
