Hi there,
I'm pretty new to the script but i'm unable to perform a simple stich of the two images attached (stich works good for example with Photomerge on Photoshop see result.jpg attached)
Basically we are trying to automate a process, we are taking two pictures of the same marble slabs in different position and try to merge it.
Camera is always in the same position and same distance.
I got the following error :
C:\Py\Python382\Scripts>stitch C:\tmp\PhotoStich\1.jpg C:\tmp\PhotoStich\2.jpg --output C:\tmp\PhotoStich\result.jpg --warper_type plane
stitching C:\tmp\PhotoStich\1.jpg C:\tmp\PhotoStich\2.jpg into C:\tmp\PhotoStich\result.jpg

Do your images have enough overlap and common
features? If yes, you might want to lower the
'confidence_threshold' or try another
'detector'.
Images of course got overlapping area
I was wondering if I need to set up a Mask (--feature_masks) to force the algo to look just for example a defined area.
I have also tried different detector with no result.
Many thanks for your help,
Matteo
