I installed version 1.0 2024-07-29 from the Snap store and it won't run. See here:

/snap/pixelorama/199/Pixelorama.x86_64: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.28' not found (required by /snap/pixelorama/199/Pixelorama.x86_64)

I have the required GLIBC though, see ldd --version:

ldd (Ubuntu GLIBC 2.39-0ubuntu8.2) 2.39

This happens in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.

I am getting the same error. I wondered if maybe something went wrong in the in-place upgrade from Kubuntu 22.04 to 24.04, so I created a fresh Kubuntu 24.04.1 VM. It also gets the same error: version `GLIBC_2.28' not found.

Hy, i did a quick search and found this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/72921215/getting-glibc-2-28-not-found

Not sure if it'll work but can you try the following commands:

sudo apt-get remove nodejs
nvm install 16.15.1

I've opened issue with this same problem in the snap repo Orama-Interactive/pixelorama-snap#2
@Variable-ind's suggestion will likely not work because it's only specifically for fixing node
