This is a server side issue with the PowerShell Gallery. We'll fix this at some point. PowerShellGet v2 retrieves all versions and then sorts client side and returns, however PSResourceGet streams results for faster output. So we really need to fix this on our server.

Definitely need this fix! I've also migrated to only using Microsoft.PowerShell.PSResourceGet. Find-Module with -AllVersions in PowerShellGet v2 isn't a great workaround as it doesn't support the interval notation for specifying version ranges like the Find-PSResource -Version parameter.
