Updates from last week ✔️

  • Curate JupyterLab themes #133 preparing getting next decision step going. Based on discussion yesterday I need an update and to see if we can get an informal vote in the next JupyterLab call.
  • Test out a new contribution event! #132 I made keyboard navigation event fixes based on feedback. Trying to schedule the next event on a Monday with you all, so I need to check the thread on that.

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

  • I'm okay.

My availability for next week

  • I'll be out of office from November 23–25.

Important items for discussion 💬

  • I don't think I have anything right now.

Updates from last week ✔️

  • I'm working in the hamburguer menu in jupyterlab - realized that the change must be done in Jupyterlab and not Lumino but now I'm thinking how is best to implement it.

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

  • I will need to ask Mike some questions about jupyterlab architecture - I'm still not sure why there's so many interfaces for menu objects.

My availability for next week

  • I'll be here

Important items for discussion 💬

  • Do I need to do something for the jupytercon proposals?

Updates from last week ✔️

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

  • All is good.

My availability for next week

  • I haven't requested time off yet, but I guess I'll be taking Thursday, November 24 off?

Important items for discussion 💬

  • Can we discuss some of the things that came up in yesterday's Jupyter Accessibility meeting?

@steff456

  • will be working on the hamburger menu - should be a component in the menubar
  • seems all the changes need to happen at the JLab level and not lumino

@gabalafou
- focus PR is on its way -> need to iron out some kinks in the tests
- need to open the issue regarding the menubar refactoring
