Miele Ventilation Hood (DA3698) Fan not working

The control of lighting is possible, but the fan control does not work at all...
Any idea why that might be?

I need to look into this. I did not create the fan part and I am unable to test it without investing in a simulator since I do not have such a device. Will try to find a cause.

Is it the fan speed, the switch or both?

Is it the fan speed, the switch or both?

The light switch works as intended, just has a major delay to it
The fan control is a slider from 0% to 100%

I know the Miele developer cloud thing is limited so it might not be possible to implement

Any chance you can paste the swagger output from the Miele developer site and play around with PUT command there to see if you can get it working via their site?

I see the author of the ventilation hood part of the plugin does the following:

fanSpeed = (Number(value)/25).toFixed();
// Corrected formula to get right increments 25% = 1, 50% = 2, 75% = 3, 100% = 4

The delay I did not focus on yet, but it might be an unfortunate side effect of the hood reacting on the Miele cloud only every minute or so (at least low frequency)

This is then most likely the problem the plugin also does not allow you to change the ventilation step.
