I can't reproduce this. What are your settings in Preferences Downloads ?
I have:

  1. Always download to /home/user/Downloads
  2. ✔ close download manager when finished downloads
  3. ✔ use native system dialog
  4. ✘ use external download manager

Can you reproduce this while debugging qupzilla (see https://github.com/QupZilla/qupzilla/wiki/FAQ#how-will-i-be-able-to-debug-qupzilla-in-case-of-a-crash )?

If you take a look at the backtrace you will see, that libQupZilla.so.* is not involved. I assume, there might be rather a problem in/ with some other libraries. Unfortunately it is always quite difficult to find the root cause.

In order to exclude FlashPlayer you might try to uncheck

Preferences -> Browsing -> Allow Netscape Plugins

Downloading works for me.
