Almost always these differences are from encoding settings. Can you post the VidCoder log and the HandBrake log? |

It shows HandBrake as using the "medium" preset while VidCoder is using the slower "placebo" preset. Is that what you see selected on the Video Encoding tab? |

Okay, ran a new test with the latest update and the speed is indeed the same. Thank you, and I apologize that the original settings weren't the same. I honestly thought that both were on Medium. This shows that both Handbrake and Vidcoder are of equal speed. I downloaded the new Handbrake 1.6.0 and ran 2 encode tests vs Vidcoder for speed. Handbrake 1.6.0 finished at 11hrs 10mins and Vidcoder finished at 14hrs 22mins. The new optimizations that have been applied to Handbrake 1.6.0, can they also be applied to Vidcoder? Because that difference in encoding time is too large. Both used exactly the same settings using H.265 10-bit (x265) codec.
Will Vidcoder improve now that Handbrake 1.6.0 is out?
