bug: Ambient Mode permanently enabled

Bug description

A recent A/B test on YouTube removed the ambient mode toggle, but this however left the feature permanently enabled.

Solution

I assume that default preference value can be set to false instead always true (also on fresh installations).

Pretty sure a bug. Why would YouTube remove the toggle

it appears YT has removed the ambient feature, at least it's gone on all accounts I tried. It's also missing on the latest unpatched YT.

If it's stuck on the old ambient mode then that must be a bug. Maybe because it's not the latest app release.
