Overpass Condensed?

I'd love to see a Condensed version of Overpass -- similar in width to Interstate Condensed -- which would work much better in our app than the regular width of Overpass. I know doing something like this takes time and money, but perhaps if I could get my company to help sponsor this, could it happen? We'd love to use an open source alternative in our project permanently.

These guys have a condensed version: https://github.com/sammdot/roadgeek-fonts
and their source font just builds fine using fontforge.

We've looked at those! Sadly, they didn't update the "Engshrift" weight, which is what we use.
