To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Use bundled runtime.
2. Install C2ME and Incedium as a Fabric mod.
3. Reset the config.
4. Set render distance to 128 chunks.

Expected behavior
Errrr, what i expected to happen?

• I tried the latest development version but the issue persists.
• I searched for similar open issues and could not find an existing bug report on this.
• I am using the official version of the mod.

I would like to backport all fixes from 1.20.6.

Try installing spark and use the command /spark profiler start --thread * --timeout 60 when the TPS becomes consistently below 18. Please provide the link generated 60 seconds after its execution.

I reproduced it with minimal mods like this.
Also i can do nothing on pause menu and TPS is still trashes.

64 chunks is ok, and on 1.20.6 this is not an issue.
