add support to use chef-vault instead of encrypted_databags. This ticket is to serve as a place holder. Would be nice to get some support from authors on this but if not I am starting a fork to add this in.

Has there been any progress on this? I noticed that the Nexus cookbook has vault support. Perhaps you can glance at how they do it.
