Description:

When the Rocket.Chat client is opened on one of the monitors (maximized/fullscreen) and new message arrives, the window is automatically resizing to smaller size. It doesn't matter if the focus is in the application or somewhere else. It drives me crazy.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Rocket.Chat client.
  2. Wait for the message incoming (from DM or any chanel, with notifications enabled).
  3. On new message - the window automatically resizes.

Expected behavior:

It should totally stay the exact size that I set before.

Actual behavior:

It resizes!

Server Setup Information:

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 3.0.4
  • Operating System: linux
  • NodeJS Version: v12.14.0

Client Setup Information

  • Desktop App or Browser Version: Desktop app
  • Operating System: Windows 7
