Description:

Hello Devs.

Since a few releases the options menu does not disappear from screen after choosing "quote" for example. It applies to other options as well. I have to tip on the screen above the options menu to be able to type or edit the message.

Environment Information:

  • Rocket.Chat Server Version: 6.11.2 (6.12.0 too)
  • Rocket.Chat App Version: 4.51.0
  • Device Name: Pixel 6
  • OS Version: Android 13

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Long press on message
  2. Choose "quote"
  3. Options menu does not disappear and covers screen

Expected behavior:

Options menu disappears after choosing an option.

Actual behavior:

Options menu still there.

cheers!

We have e2e tests and this is not happening there. I can't reproduce it either. Can you record a video?

Harder to reproduce than you thought or something else?

I was not able to reproduce on my devices, but I've been working on some performance improvements that might fix it.
