it is not very convenient when we specify the optional fields via ::Maybe=nothing (aka Union{T, Nothing}), e.g

struct AllMyFieldsAreOptional
   a::Maybe{String} = nothing
   b::Maybe{Float64} = nothing
   c::Maybe{Int} = nothing
end

we can instead have an optional section syntax

struct AllMyFieldsAreOptional
    @optional
    a::String
    b::Float64
    c::Int
end

which is equivalent to

struct AllMyFieldsAreOptional
   a::Maybe{String} = nothing
   b::Maybe{Float64} = nothing
   c::Maybe{Int} = nothing
end
