2.92 - Retargeting error with Smartgloves

I have received a ticket (ID 4128) who is getting an error in Blender 2.92 when trying to to do animation retargeting using our plugin. Here are the contents of the ticket:

"This error has only started coming up when I started to import my smart glove data. I retarget the root rig to the rig of my character and create the bone list. After pressing retarget the error in the screen shot is shown and the character rig receives no key frames."
