I can't believe I spent money on shitty 'path painter' on the asset store; this does the job AND it works ! Damned ... I will ask for refund.

How is dev going? I would really want to see the spline editor in action ! Any ETA ?
You need some funding ?

This is very much based on the Unity Terrain Tools which are still heavily in flux during 2019.3. So anything I do would be just a waste of time probably.

I intend to replace the spline tool in my free PrefabPainter with the one from Sebastian Lague, i. e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saAQNRSYU9k and maybe in that run I'll update this asset as well.

No promises though and no ETA since this is just a hobby and I'm swamped with real life work. But this asset is free and modular and everyone with coding skill could implement this. After all the spline placement is a separate thing and iterating through its path and painting the terrain texture while doing so would be easy.

However, I doubt this will look good. I tried creating lanes because someone requested it. It works. But you're better off for e. g. streets with assets like Easy Roads. You'd want multiple layers on e. g. a street, otherwise with a simple texture it would look just flat.
