is anyone else having issues with the controller minimizing the game screen mid game or the ps4 controller registering as a mouse half the time???

Are you using the option "emulated dualshock 4"? If that so, switch to the touchpad tab change it to passthrough.

For those that have been waiting, this is the version that re-enables Rumble/vibration in DS4 mode. (was actually last update, but there was an issue)

Make sure that you update things accordingly before reporting any issues. You should be using .NET 6 runtimes for x86 and x64. You should also be using the latest version of ViGEmBus. You should also have HIDHide's latest version installed (ds4windows should take care of managing it for you) :

• .NET 6 Runtimes - (.NET 6 x64) and (.NET 6 x86)
• ViGEmBus - (ViGEmBus v1.21.442.0 x86/x64/ARM64)
• HIDHide - (v1.2.98.0 x64)
• Restart your PC after any of these updates are done, to make sure the old drivers are cleared and new ones take over.

If, for any reason, your DS4 does not rumble in-game, it's likely now a game issue, not D4W issue.

Hi there, just having trouble marking ds4 work with halo infinite on using the xbox app, before the update it was working well, can you please suggest ways to make it work, I have installed hid hide but that didn't make a difference
