What does the prefixes mean?

In clause 5.1 there is a list of used prefixes, that is fine. But what does the prefixes stand for? - There are only links the the namespace. If one read the document it might be meaningful to actually know what the prefixes mean.

Prefixes are in the semantic web a way to shorten the URIs. The list of prefixes is thus the abbreviations used.
We assume that this is common knowledge.
