Have been using BDFR since a while, suddenly since Friday I have been getting below error, I have tried updating BDFR to the latest version as well but still get the same error. Any help would be highly appreciated.

You're missing a line in your config file, somehow. You need to add that back in for the BDFR to work.

I actually had nothing in the config file before. Currently I solved it by deleting the config file.

I a noob when it comes to python or scripting, ideally what would I have to put in the config file for this error ?

Whatever is in the config file supplied with the BDFR. There are values in there that are required for the bot to work, namely the client ID and secret, because they're the authentication for the bot to access Reddit.
