Originally reported on discord, selecting pure interpreter mode for mupen64 results in a black screen with only lag frames reported, aka effectively nonfunctional. Pure Interpreter is part of the N64 TASing profile so this is likely to be hit immediately after onboarding.

I bisected this to be caused by e7c093e, so @CasualPokePlayer.
