this eye is can't be placed

whenever I try putting special eyes in portal frames it says "this eye is can't be placed" and when I'm trying to use normal eyes they don't want to be used. Of course end castles don't generate and the mod doesn't have special end frames. Playing on the only version for 1.20.1, also for some reason instead of having modded portal frame in creative menu I have cryptic eye

I can summon with commands ancient portal frame but that doesn't work either
