We'll keep an eye on CocoaPods/CocoaPods#10576 and CocoaPods/CocoaPods#9907 so we don't update it's status prematurely.

If you do brew install cocoapods today it will run natively on M1, as of this PR: Homebrew/homebrew-core#75035

That is with Ruby 2.7 though, it seems like it might never work with the built-in (deprecated by Apple) version of Ruby...
