Doing some research, I found https://pypi.org/project/darkdetect/, but I'm not able to get it to work, which I'm absolutely certain is my own ignorance WRT Python. The text fields in the GUI are white, and the text input and output in Dark UI is also white, which means that the text cannot be seen if in Dark UI. This package should allow the UI to function properly based on the OS settings.
