  • refactor plist to use another library (htmlparser2?)
  • resolve some other open issues (ideally lumping in other potentially breaking changes like parser fixes)
  • remove support for node < 12.17
  • pure esm module (drop legacy commonjs)
  • replace the Makefile with simple npm run scripts
  • major release (plist@4 )

since v4 would be an API breaking change, I'd be open to including any fixes related to broken parsing behavior (for example, #87 , #66, #75 #79 etc.)
