As mentioned in rapidfuzz/Levenshtein#60 (comment)
we could consider https://github.com/rapidfuzz/RapidFuzz?tab=readme-ov-file#partial-ratio from a quick glance it might allow fast partial string match with a ratio. And for perfect matches, the user can use a threshold of 1.0.
