Win7x64, x64 build, quite a few DLL-type mods.

I don't know if it was because I targeted the asteroid, or because the asteroid was in a hyperbolic orbit, or because it was going to hit Kerbin. I had a high orbit (5000km) probe targeting the asteroid, which was in Kerbin SoI, and I wanted to see if KAC could look ahead on the probe's orbits to find a closest approach point that I could adjust. As soon as I selected the "closest approach" button in the KAC GUI, the game crashed. The call stack shows KAC. Crash logs are at https://www.dropbox.com/s/g6uv4vens51b96a/rt-crash.zip?dl=0

Duh ... Other useful details? KSP 0.24.2, KAC 2.7.8.2. x64 build of KSP.

That log file is from an old version of your game from 18th June 2014 so can't pull a lot from it.

If you can pass on the relevant log am happy to have a look

Sorry MOARdV, have been flatout on other stuff and didnt notice this one in here. The log definitely shows a crash in the KAC dll there.

I'll try and replicate the scenario here and see what happens
