There's also the option of configuring using --without-npm and going with a npm-less package. FreeBSD ports has the node package(s) implemented this way, then provides separate npm packages.

This is done for 2018Q1 and new packages are available (if already installed then pkg_add -U them).

I didn't force a rebuild of 2017Q4, I prefer not to do things like that in an LTS release and it's better that users always use the latest, but I can do if necessary.

This flow was experimental and never documented. It is now officially supported and documented but is not backwards compatible with older Vault releases. * Cluster cipher suites: On its cluster port, Vault will no longer advertise the full TLS 1.2 cipher suite list by default. Although this port is only used for Vault-to-Vault communication and would always pick a strong cipher, it could cause false flags on port scanners and other security utilities that assumed insecure ciphers were being used.
