In the default sequence setting page : Give user an option to auto-generate a shape by just connecting the stops together in straight lines.

How this can help:

auto-generated shape gets made
user can download it to local system
edit it at their own end to make it a proper shape
upload the proper shape

So we don't need to "provision" the new shape as such. Just need to generate and download it.

So maybe we can keep a button to do just that : auto-generate and download shape by connecting the dots.

Will have to think about how to present this properly on the page so that user doesn't get confused.
