we have tested this endpoint against our uatamer SF instance but saw no reaction in the UI.

@shailesh if you can maybe get this to work on your developer instance, then we will have verified that this strategy will work and we'll coordinate with the SF team at viasat.

Status: The endpoint we found only populates the 'Chat Transcript Events' but there are two issues with that.

  1. That panel in the UI is hidden from our live agents
  2. It only populates after the case is closed.

We are trying to get a salesforce specialist to give advice. This will be on hold till then.

Update: Rahul is reaching out to Salesforce support to see if there is some way to implement this desired feature.
