It would be nice to have an interface which allows you to specify the search type directly, e.g. something like this, but sane:

 (defun deadgrep-with-options (search-term &optional search-type search-case)
    "Start a ripgrep search for SEARCH-TERM, optionally specifying the search type and search case"
