I entered a bad cheat into the game and now I cannot open the game at all, it crashes immediately. Is there anyway to fix this without deleting the game? Maybe just delete the cheat somehow?

Hey! I'm interested in making sure this issue is fixed, however, you've posted on the old repository for iNDS. As noted in the README for this repository, the project has moved to iNDS-Team/iNDS. If you want to repost your issue there, possibly with more information such as what cheat code you entered and what version you are running, I'll gladly begin working on trying to solve the problem.
