I am unsure if this is due to the theme, but I don't think it is as seems across a few themes. However, I did see this in TT1 with the latest plugin and Chrome.

As you can see 'byline' is incredibly small. My recommendation would be for that to at least be increased by a font size for default.

Chiming in that this is still an issue while doing QA for 6.1-beta2 with the twentytwentythree theme, and without Gutenberg installed.

That means that the current functionality will soon to be shipped with WP Core.

Taking a closer look at the styling, it seems like we're using em's, but we probably want it to use the CSS variable:
