Allow for the programatic means to activate a font.

What problem does this address?

In cases where an alternative experience to choosing a font is presented to a user (for example by a plugin like the Pattern Assembler which might present a collection of fonts for a user to choose from) we need a way to activate a font that has been installed.

What is your proposed solution?

Something akin to:

activate_font('font family');
