Site info doesn't appear on first load #1740

When I click on the site editor icon, site info doesn't load initially.

After I click on a site in the sidebar it starts loading.

@bgrgicak, I ran into the same thing, and this is an expected issue at this point:
#1701 (comment)

It should be resolved as part of #1731.
