Memory consumption on my laptop reaches 6GB under normal usage -- editing documents that is roughly 10 pages. It only happens as the use time increases. 6GB is too much for a word processor, considering 8GB as a standard size of memory for many entry level laptops; this could severely hinder user experience for these users.
Expected Behavior
Memory consumption should be more optimized to the level of 1~2GB.
There is no such issue for TeXmacs, which uses guile-1.8 rather than s7.
