Issue migrated from trac ticket # 1007

component: packaging | priority: major | resolution: fixed

2015-10-16 07:38:30: antoine created the issue

I have created a wiki page to track our build and runtime dependencies: Dependencies.

Please ensure that your win32 environment is up to date and also update the OSX modulesets (#533):

  • ffmpeg 2.8.1
  • cython 0.23.4
  • pillow 3.0.0
  • numpy 1.10.1
  • gmplib 6.0.0a
  • mpfr?
    and maybe more?

I haven't put the version numbers on that wiki page for all the projects - maybe we should?

Can confirm i've updated these on my win32 build system and also in the osx moduleset.

Maybe we should have a version column for osx and win32 on the wiki that way when there is a change it will show up on the timeline?

Feel free to edit the wiki page to add version numbers or just close this ticket.

I started adding stuff to the wiki page but I think some of it is being kind of redundant.

Maybe we need 1 list for all the platforms and make note of versions kept back on other platforms and reason why?

Should python modules be listed in the same way or maybe a list specific for just those?

These are all updated on my end so we can close this ticket. I think we should probably reformat the dependencies page but I don't really have any suggestions right now.

wiki had not been updated, done it now and bumped ffmpeg and libwebp too: r11261.
