GTK Menus not functioning

Description:
All menus in GTK applications cannot be clicked on.

They appear, but hovering the mouse does not highlight items, and clicking acts as though I had clicked away from the menu.

Client: OS X 0.15.2
Server: Gentoo 0.15.0

As per ReportingBugs, please be more specific:

• which simple GTK application can I use for testing
• which GTK version do you have installed
• does this occur with non-OSX clients?
• "xpra info" captured when the menu is shown
  etc...

I don't know if it occurs with non-OSX clients, I'm traveling and only have my Mac laptop.

GTK version is Gentoo 2.24.28-[r1](../commit/d1852d5612574555ba45ec1ea3e170c2f23f7218)

GTK applications tested:

• orage

• claws-mail
• hexchat

Also gitk (a tcl/tk app) does this. No Qt applications tested have shown it.

Testing with "orage", I am seeing some problems but not with drop down menus specifically - more like focus in general on some dialogs.

This only affects OSX clients with versions 0.15.x, not with 0.14.x.
(tested with trunk and 0.14.x servers, it makes no difference)
