Innovative information access is pretty much email only. Some lists are possible.

Need to think about how we want to handle this with any future ILS. If database access is available do we want to pull or watch events in the database itself. If a trigger based system is available do we want to use that.

Is there a use case for a modern ILS to send emails at all with a more robust notification system.
