I've just started experimenting with using this plugin to link the Bond Bridge to Homekit. The fan I'm using is a Monte Carlo with a DC motor. The remote gives me 6 speeds and a breeze feature.
I was initially having problems with the fan not starting up when it was stopped from Homekit. I would have to set a speed then turn it off again before it would respond. Siri also couldn't do anything but stop it. I'm pleased to report that moving from 3.2.10 to the .11 beta seems to have solved both issues.
Now my question: As I mentioned, this fan has a breeze feature. I see it show up in the Homebridge log screen as the plugin loads. But I don't see it show up in Homekit. Is this a limitation of Homekit? If not, is there a way to get it to show up, or at least be controlled by Siri?
(Is there someplace where Homekit's features and limitations are documented? I haven't managed to find it.)
The remote only seems to send a Power Off command, not Power On or Power Toggle. Increase and Decrease speed are also not handled. So they're not set up in the BB app. But I see them appearing in the log. Are these being made available to Homekit?
Thanks!
