lessmsi-gui: can't accept path only

Windows 2003 SP2

lessmsi-gui waits for the file name only in address bar and can't accept path-only instead of [path]filename and exception occurs. However, the desired behavior would be to open file selection dialogue at nearest existing path of entered string. "Nearest" means here that if full entered path not exists it is necessary to try one level up and so on up to "My Computer".

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:
