  1. Open Chrome (normally, without debugging) and open some tabs
  2. Quit Chrome
  3. Open Brackets to the getting started project
  4. Start Live Preview
  5. Observe that Chrome opens with the same tabs, but the live preview page is opened in a new window that is under the previous window

Reproduced on mac 10.7, Chrome 29.

All other workflows I tested have the match the behavior of Chrome 28:

  • Restarting Chrome when Brackets detects that debugging is not enabled opens the live preview page as a new tab in the same window
  • Launching live preview when Chrome already has debugging enabled opens the live preview page in a new tab

Reviewed, medium priority since it can be hard to find the live preview window. To @JeffryBooher

This seems to be fixed (obsolete?) with recent changes to Mac Live Dev. FBNC back to @jasonsanjose
