Live preview error : "Error Launching Browser " .. the Google chrome browser could not be found. I already have google chrome installed

My problem seems to be similar to #7372 . I can't find any solution to the problem in the post though . I am running Brackets Sprint 39 the lastest version on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.

Have you read the Live Preview section of the Brackets Troubleshooting Guide ?

Especially the Windows-specific items:

• Install Chrome For Multiple User Accounts (Windows Only)
• Check Windows Registry

I reinstalled brackets checked registry and everything is fine. I really don't wanna go through reinstalling chrome. Is there no other way out?

Reinstalling chrome fixed it . Really can't live without live preview

can i use this editor , without using the chrome browser ?

@frodoe7 I believe that the editor can be used without using Chrome as your browser, but Live Preview currently requires Chrome to work, as far as I know. All other features should work fine, though.
