__placeholder__ is not a helper

Tried using this in an existing project. It appears that there may be some weird caching issue in the build.

   <input
     required
     {{on "input" (set this.username (get _ "target.value"))}}
     class="form-control"
     placeholder="Email"
     type="email">

I was wondering if the helper name would cause any issue, any chance the project has a custom resolver at all? May need to pick a different name for the placeholder helper that follows the more standard naming rules
